The Superior ARTery is a creative journey in Superior activating existing pathways, highlighting points of interest, enhancing accessibility and making new connections. Brought to you by the Culrural Arts and Public Spaces Advisory Committee (CAPS), the one-mile pilot area includes seven pilot art projects meant to encourage walking and biking to the new community center at 1500 Coalton Road.
In the fall of 2021, CAPS invited the community to explore the ARTery and collected community feedback through an online survey. That feedback will be utilized for future planning of permanent art path phases and implementation throughout Superior. See the results of the surveys here.
The Superior ARTery -- it's a lot of art within 1 mile! The 17 public artworks by seven artists can be found in a one-mile, Rock Creek Circle loop around the Superior Community Center at 1500 Coalton Road. The pilot projects are part of an effort by CAPS to start a new art trail throughout the Town. From street murals to dancing light sticks, the ARTery is meant to encourage walking, biking, creative wayfinding and even provide public safety features.
