CALL FOR SUPERIOR RESIDENT ARTISTS

Superior is full of artists, and we want to put your artwork where the whole community can see it. Artist Spotlight is a new rotating exhibit featured on large monitor screens at the Superior Community Center and the Civic Space. This is your invitation to share what you create and see it celebrated across town!

The Cultural Arts & Public Spaces (CAPS) advisory committee has launched a new exhibit opportunity for resident Superior artists! Artist Spotlight: Neon Dreams & Digital Streams is an open call-for-art that will feature Superior artists via slideshow exhibits.

WHAT TO ENTER

Artists need to self-curate and submit image or video files that equate to a finished slideshow exhibit.

  • 2D & 3D artists: submit a minimum of 10, maximum of 20 artwork image files
  • Video artists: submit a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 (longer) video files or 5-10 (short) reels


HOW TO ENTER

  • Scroll down and click "SPOTLIGHT -- enter here"
  • Fill out the required entry form
  • Upload exhibit files [see below "what to enter" details]
  • Upload a required inventory list that includes
    1. Title
    2. Medium
    3. Year

  • WHAT TO ENTER

    Artists need to self-curate and submit image or video files that equate to a finished slideshow exhibit. If invited by CAPS for an exhibit, there will be opportunity for minor substitutions to what was originally submitted, but the goal is for CAPS to download your files and create a slideshow.  


    1. 2D & 3D artists: submit a minimum of 10, maximum of 20 artwork image files
    2. Video artists: submit a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 video files or reels

    No watermarks or name/title information embedded in images please.
