14-Day Parking Time Limit Feedback

The Town has heard from citizens expressing concern about the number of cars parking for an extended amount of time in residential neighborhoods in our community.  The Town’s Municipal Code does not address the amount of time cars can be parked on-street.  Any car with current registration that appears operable is allowed to park on public streets without a time limit.  Recreation vehicles and trailers are required to move after 48 hours, but there is currently not a similar requirement for cars.  In response to citizen concerns, the Town Board is exploring an Ordinance that would restrict consecutive day parking of cars to 14 days.

The Town would like to hear from the community about this issue and whether updating the Municipal Code to include a 14-consecutive-day restriction for cars is an appropriate policy change for Superior.  Community feedback is a crucial part of this decision-making process, so please take a few minutes to reply to the questions below.  This information will be provided to the Town Board for its consideration.

Survey closes August 10.
